Hi, I'm Lauren.
Hi, I'm Lauren. I've been building Common Circus for twelve years, and it's grown up right alongside my life.
In that time I got married to my husband Scott, had two daughters, and moved through the seasons that change a woman. The business evolved as I did. My beliefs got stronger, my ideas got clearer, and Common Circus shifted to match. It's not separate from me. It sits in my head every single day, and it means the world to me.
I'm the person who chooses everything here, and I have been the whole time. That has never changed.
I know most people don't have the time or the headspace for that part. So let me do it for you. That is what Common Circus has always really been for.

Common Circus began in 2014 as a store and a cafe, built on one belief: that considered, beautiful things make everyday life better. For you, for your family, for the spaces you live in.
Over twelve years we grew, and we gathered a community. People came for the things, yes, but really they came for the space. A place that felt like it belonged to them.
In March 2026 we closed our physical doors and moved online, working from our warehouse in Lake Macquarie. The team is smaller now, the edit is sharper, and I am back at the front of it all, choosing every piece and speaking to you myself.
We have changed, on purpose, because the world has. But the belief underneath is exactly the same. And we are only part way through the story.
